BIO

I am a voice and public speaking coach based in Singapore. I am the first and only Singaporean to be certified in the Fitzmaurice Voicework® and Knight Thompson Speechwork® methods. I have taught voice, accents and speech at Lasalle College of the Arts, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and School of the Arts. I also regularly conduct public speaking workshops for corporate groups and government agencies.

I was a radio broadcaster on various radio stations in Singapore such as Class 95FM, 91.3FM and Lush 99.5FM and was the pioneer batch of newscasters in Singapore’s first news only radio station in 1998.

As an actress I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of Singapore’s top theatre companies like Dream Academy, Theatreworks, Pangdemonium and The Theatre Practice.

I’ve been working as a voice-actor for over 20 years and had the privilege have been in countless of commercials, documentaries and animated series. I voice-directed Singapore’s first award-winning animated series Tao Shu The Warrior Boy and Channel 5’s First Animated sit-com Heartland Hubby.

As an emcee, keynote speaker and moderator, I’ve had the pleasure of hosting large government organisations and global conferences, held space for intimate sharing sessions and moderated academic and artistic exchanges.

I curated and directed Walking in Beauty for the M1 Fringe Festival in 2018 and toured the production to London in July 2018 to rave reviews. I also regularly organise and host live storytelling sessions with Telling Stories Live to connect people and share stories. I organised the first Migrant Worker Storytelling Competition and am also one of the founders of Pasar Glamour

I’ve worked as the accent coach for SRT’s production of Caught September 2019, and previously on LKY the Musical in 2015.
